Social Engagement

Luca Industries is proud to announce a larger social engagement in the field of sport.
Recently a sponsoring contract with the regional Handball Club Z88, located in the south-western part of the city Berlin-Zehlendorf was signed by our CEO, Dr. Marcello Luca, the head of the handball department Mr. Marco Tuchscherer and the board of the club. Berlin-Zehlendorf is the district in Berlin, where the headquarter of Luca Industries International is located.

Within the contract Luca Industries International is providing two complete sets of jerseys, pants, warm up shirts and sweaters to all squads of the Z-88 Handball Club for at least a period of three consecutive years till 2023.
In return Luca Industries International as the main sponsor is allowed to advertise the company as well as the brand LithoPore® Aerated Concrete – LPAC through all jerseys.
This is another step to maintain our social responsibility as a steadily growing international company.

Handball  is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team.
A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of 40 by 20 metres (131 by 66 ft), with a goal in the middle of each end. The goals are surrounded by a 6-meter (20 ft) zone where only the defending goalkeeper is allowed. Goals must be scored by throwing the ball from outside the zone or while "diving" into it. The sport is usually played indoors.
